Welcome to our blog dedicated to exploring 3D art at Midpen Housing – Midway Village I! In this exciting project, we’ve collaborated with talented artists and professionals to create six stunning works of art in three-dimensional dimensions. From design to installation, each step has been carefully coordinated to offer a unique visual experience for the community.

The Project

The 3D art project at Midpen Housing – Midway Village I has been an exciting collaboration involving diverse talents and skills. With a total of six signs, each features a unique and captivating design, intended to enrich the environment and foster creativity and reflection.

Creative Process
Design and Production

Under the direction of our project lead, Luis Vivas, and with the expertise of our talented team, each artwork was carefully conceived and designed to reflect the diversity and cultural richness of the community. Working closely with artists and curators, six pieces were selected for realization in 3D.

Fabrication

The fabrication process was carried out by our skilled machine operator, Alexis Heredia, who used a CNC router to cut the pieces in acrylic and aluminum. With several layers forming part of the design, each artwork acquired a unique dimension and a sense of depth. Subsequently, the pieces were printed on our Roland flatbed, under the supervision of our print lead, Jose Viduarre.

Installation

Once completed, the artworks were installed by our professional team, ensuring that each piece was presented with maximum visual impact in its designated location in Midway Village I.
